Universal Pictures is currently working for the script and looking for ways to get Channing Tatum for the lead role for the Van Helsing reboot.
The Van Helsing reboot was rumored to join the "Dark Universe" of Universal Pictures that started from "The Mummy" with Tom Cruise. Despite its negative reviews from the critics and box office disappointment, they would still continue to build up the Dark Universe. Russell Crowe's Dr Jekyll will definitely tie up everything with the upcoming films, The Bride of Frankenstein, in which they're targeting Angelina Jolie for the lead role and to be directed by Bill Condon. Followed by The Invisible Man with Johnny Depp and Javier Bardem as the Frankenstein.
So how will Helsing fit in this shared universe? Is he going to eliminate all the monsters? We expect a lot of action from this film and hopefully this is not another box office let down.
